ETA Power Generation Wastewater Treatment

  • Ethanolamine (ETA) is used for pH control
  • Conventional power plants use ammonia for pH control
  • High concentrations of non-biodegradable COD and total nitrogen (T-N)
  • Treated through oxidation using APS (Ammonium Persulfate) and reverse osmosis (RO) systems

Composite Oxidant (COA Reaction)

  • Stepwise removal of TOC and total nitrogen (T-N) through the combined use of powerful oxidants
  • Highly effective in removing non-biodegradable organic matter and nitrogen

Fenton Oxidation Treatment

Fenton reaction mechanism

  • H₂O₂+ Fe² → Fe³ + OH- + OH*
  • R- + OH* → CO2 + H₂O

Applied for the removal of non-biodegradable and toxic substances

Excellent capability to handle fluctuations in influent load

Ozone Oxidation Treatment

Fenton reaction mechanism

  • R-R + O3 → R-COOH / R-CHO /R-OH + O3 → CO2 + H₂O
  • Converts high-molecular-weight substances into low-molecular-weight substances
  • Transforms hydrophobic substances into hydrophilic substances
  • Converts non-biodegradable substances into biodegradable substances
  • Reduces the toxicity of hazardous substances

Used for the removal of small amounts of non-biodegradable COD

Also applied as a disinfection system at final effluent discharge points
